FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
What RecipeRM is, how it runs recipe content across every market, and what it takes to get started.
What is RecipeRM?
RecipeRM is a multi-market recipe content platform for appliance, cookware, food, and consumer brands.
It brings recipe creation, localization, product relationships, publishing, SEO, analytics, social distribution, and content intelligence into one structured platform.
Who is RecipeRM for?
RecipeRM is designed for enterprise organizations that manage recipe content across products, countries, languages, domains, or internal teams.
It is particularly valuable for appliance, cookware, food, ingredient, and consumer brands that use recipes to support product discovery, engagement, organic visibility, and commerce.
How long has RecipeRM been in the market?
RecipeRM has been operating for eight years.
The platform currently supports operations across the United States, Latin America, and more than eight countries, with continued growth into additional markets.
Who is behind RecipeRM?
RecipeRM is built and operated by Creative Athletes, a United States-based product, strategy, design, and engineering company.
Creative Athletes brings experience across SaaS, enterprise platforms, marketplaces, direct-to-consumer products, consumer experiences, commerce, artificial intelligence, product strategy, and software engineering.
How is RecipeRM different from a generic CMS?
RecipeRM is purpose-built for recipe content operations.
A generic CMS stores pages and fields. RecipeRM manages recipes, ingredients, markets, languages, products, chefs, collections, structured data, social publishing, content intelligence, and regional relationships as part of one connected model.
Does RecipeRM support multiple countries and languages?
Yes.
Each market can operate in its own language and manage its own recipes, regional products, ingredients, measurements, domains, SEO metadata, seasonal priorities, and publishing destinations.
Global teams maintain shared standards while regional teams manage the content relevant to their audiences.
Does RecipeRM support multiple brands?
Yes, with one brand per account.
A holding company or brand portfolio can operate multiple brands on RecipeRM, but each brand is managed through its own account, configuration, catalog, permissions, markets, and invoice.
This preserves clear ownership, reporting, governance, and brand separation.
Can regional teams manage their own markets?
Yes.
Permissions can be configured so regional teams manage the content, products, domains, campaigns, and publishing actions relevant to their markets while global teams retain governance and visibility.
Can RecipeRM import our existing recipe catalog?
Yes.
RecipeRM supports structured CSV imports, and our team will assist with importing your existing recipe catalog at no additional cost.
We review the source structure, prepare the import, validate the content, and help establish the catalog inside RecipeRM.
Does RecipeRM provide recipes for us to publish?
No.
RecipeRM is not a stock recipe library.
The platform helps your team manage its own recipe catalog and identify the content opportunities worth developing next.
What is What to Create Next?
What to Create Next is RecipeRM's content intelligence module.
It analyzes the tenant's own catalog, markets, products, seasonal needs, saved ideas, content coverage, and performance signals to identify the gaps worth filling.
Recommendations may include missing seasonal content, market-specific opportunities, weak category coverage, product-driven ideas, and under-served products.
What are under-served products?
Under-served products are products with thin recipe coverage relative to the market norm, the product's strategic reach, or the recipe support it receives in other markets.
RecipeRM identifies these gaps so teams can determine where new recipe content may improve product discovery and support strategic priorities.
Does RecipeRM automatically publish AI recommendations?
No.
All recommendations are reviewed and selected by the tenant.
RecipeRM supports decision-making and content planning, but the brand retains editorial control over what is created, approved, and published.
Does RecipeRM use our data to train third-party models?
No.
RecipeRM does not use tenant content or proprietary data to train third-party models.
Tenant data is processed only to provide the platform capabilities and services authorized for the account.
How does translation and localization work?
RecipeRM supports localized content for each market, including language, SEO metadata, URLs, products, ingredients, measurements, and regional variations.
Translation may be supported through RecipeRM's intelligence capabilities, approved workflows, or human review depending on the tenant's operating model.
Every market retains control over the final published content.
How does SEO work across countries?
Each market can manage its own search experience, including local URLs, titles, descriptions, structured data, Open Graph metadata, images, and content relationships.
This allows each market to build a genuine local presence rather than relying on one generic global page.
Can recipes include photos and video?
Yes.
Recipes support photography, galleries, embedded YouTube video, step-by-step media, chef content, product media, and other visual assets.
Can RecipeRM connect recipes to products?
Yes.
Recipes can be connected to appliances, cookware, ingredients, accessories, replacement parts, and other relevant products.
Product relationships can be managed by market so each audience sees the products available and relevant to them.
Can RecipeRM connect to a PIM, DAM, or ecommerce catalog?
RecipeRM does not currently provide a standard native connection to every PIM, DAM, or ecommerce platform.
These systems may be connected through an approved API-based implementation depending on the customer's architecture and requirements.
Can we keep our existing website?
Yes.
RecipeRM can operate as the recipe content and intelligence layer behind an existing website.
Approved native publishing endpoints and APIs can deliver managed recipe content into the brand's existing digital experience.
Do we need developers to use RecipeRM?
No for normal content operations.
Marketing and content teams can manage recipes, markets, pages, localization, products, chefs, collections, and publishing workflows through the platform.
Development resources may be required for custom API integrations or specialized implementation work.
Who owns the content and data?
The tenant owns its content and data.
RecipeRM does not claim ownership of customer recipes, product information, images, videos, or proprietary brand materials.
What happens to our content if we leave RecipeRM?
The tenant can export its recipe catalog as CSV before closing the account.
When the account is deleted, the tenant's content is removed from RecipeRM according to the applicable account closure and retention process.
Where is RecipeRM data stored?
RecipeRM uses Cloudflare R2 as part of its storage infrastructure.
Additional platform services may be used to operate application, authentication, delivery, analytics, and integration capabilities.
How is RecipeRM hosted and secured?
RecipeRM uses cloud-based infrastructure, tenant isolation, role-based access, secure authentication, and controlled service integrations.
Security practices continue to evolve as the platform and customer requirements grow.
How long does implementation take?
Timing depends on the size and condition of the existing catalog, the number of markets, localization requirements, product relationships, domains, and integrations.
Because RecipeRM supports structured CSV imports and includes catalog import assistance, brands can often begin with their existing content instead of rebuilding everything manually.
How does support work?
Support is available according to the customer's plan.
Options include standard support, priority support, dedicated support, and custom service commitments for eligible enterprise accounts.
What does RecipeRM cost?
RecipeRM pricing reflects the number of brands and markets managed, the platform capabilities required, and the level of support needed.
Pricing is not based on metered consumer traffic, recipe views, or AI requests.
